Our Center

The Center for Societal Development Studies (CSDS) is a Research Institute within the Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta, Indonesia. The center was established on February 1972 as Atma Jaya Research Center (ARC).

OUR VISION
To be recognized as the leading source of information and assistance for the Catholic Church in Indonesia and Government of Indonesia on the involvement in development of urban communities.

OUR MISSION
To help the Catholic Church in Indonesia, and assist the Government of Indonesia through action oriented research and training on developmental issues especially targeted at the underprivileged population in urban settings.
