The Center for Societal Development Studies (CSDS) is a research institute within the Atmajaya Catholic University.

The CSDS undertakes studies, training, consultation and publication (including audio-visual) which relate to problems in development, for instance: street children who are in tough situation, drug and alcohol abuse, reproductive health, inter-religious dialog, land usage, migration, elderly, and gender.

The center also has a Studio for Educational Technolgy. The studio has three facilities: a soundproof filming studio, an observation room with oneway window, and a photography studio.

The CSDS' facility includes a library specializing in social issues.
