As a social and developmental research institute, CSDS has been working with various other similar agencies nationally and internationally. CSDS has extensive network of university based research centers.

At present, CSDS belongs to national and international network of institutions, government and non-government in the areas of child protection, labor, women and gender issues, and reproductive health.

CSDS have maintained good relationships with Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Women Empowerment, Coordinating Minister for the Peoples Welfare and Poverty Elimination.

Moreover, the center is working cooperatively with at least 35 NGOs in Java, Sumatera, Ambon, NTT, and Sulawesi. Among them are NGOs actively engage in the provision of services for economically active children and those, which are champions in the area of STI/HIV/AIDS prevention.

In addition, CSDS studies have been funded by international sponsors such as USAID, AUS-AID, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, UNAIDS, ILO, The Netherlands Government, CIDA, the Fogarty International, the Ford Foundation, Population Council, Plan Int., Global Alliance for workers and communities, Save the Children/US, and some others.
